What is the Light Rifle?

Who says we're against hilarious guns?

The Light Rifle is a simple firearms blog centered around the statistical analysis, and publication of firearm component weights. Our team of highly trained lay-persons will attempt to form highly unqualified statistical analysis, while using high school laboratory grade equipment to determine the real world weights of real world (bust ‘em?) parts.

Here is our CRACK TEAM of HIGHLY TRAINED LAY PERSONS:

Miso Beno – Editor, Pretend Scienceographer

Miso Beno is a recent university graduate and a pretend professional photographer. He is actually the guy who weighs everything and who sets the standards of standards. Though he is completely and utterly untrained, outside of his high school science courses, in the arts of weighing stuff he does take a mean photograph.

Tactical Parachute – Tactilol Tuesdays

Out of the sky comes TACTICAL PARACHUTE. He hates poorly thought out and gawdy gun projects. He just hates them. Seriously. When he proposed to run our Tactilol Tuesdays section we just had to snap his opinionated butt up.

Have we offended you in some way? Do you have a bone to pick with our methodology? Want to submit an idea? Perhaps you want to give us some stuff for science. Well if you don’t want to leave a comment you can send us a fancy-pants email! Just remember, there is a strong possibility that whatever you send us just might end up on the front page, so don’t be a jerk. (Actually, please be a jerk. We just love content that writes itself.)

Just click this link and remember to stick “The Light Rifle” in the subject line. Otherwise you just might get sent to the spam box.
